Hearing jumbled words

Aloof all alone in thought

Constant tinnitus

Trying mindfulness outdoor meditation

Fleeting active presence

Mind wandering 

Concentrating on sounds

Chickadee singing her song

Chick a dee dee dee

Wind whispering through the pines

Waves 

Gently 

Lapping upon rocky shores

Crinkling cellophane being pulled from a cigar

Ping

Zippo lighter opens

A flickering soft flame

Crackling cigar tobacco igniting

Retrohale 

Three smoke rings in the wind

Rhythmic outboard motor putting 

Fishermen trolling by

Raven croaking high above

Huginn and Muninn

Messaging thoughts of memories

Outdoor sounds 

Locked deep within mind

Sounds now muted with aged ears

Diminished hearing fading away

Muted jumbled sounds

Remembering sounds by

Visual presence

Are outdoor sounds real

Or just memories

Memories of sound

Alone 

In silent thought

Deep in silent mindful presence 

Silence shattered by

Ringing

Constant Ringing

Tinnitus ringing
