Late September, my 22 year old bow mount electric trolling motor decided to set itself on fire. My neighbors were saddened by this tragedy lending their help and support the best they could during this smokey catastrophe.
At the Soudan Mall, I said a tearful goodbye to my faithful trolling motor. We spent hundreds if not thousands of hours together. Mainly me mashing it’s foot pedal buttons with my sometimes bare feet to gain boat control. It gave it’s all and decided enough was enough of my sockless sweaty feet stomping it’s buttons.
Sadly, shedding some tears, I left my beloved big toe worn trolling motor upright at the Mall. Goodbye old friend.
Thanks to Aronson Boat Works, and Noah helping me to spend my mad money; I replaced the fried trolling motor with an updated model complete with a remote wireless handheld control gadget. Which is awesome with Autopilot and Spot lock!
However, the foot pedal must have been designed by Bigfoot to be used by Bigfoot. Holy crap, the foot pedal is ginormous!
